We are a small but perfectly formed team of experienced friendly communications professionals working with businesses on reputation, influence and engagement in both the public and private sector.

We are located in South Northamptonshire but work across the UK and internationally.

We work with some lovely clients across a range of industries and nothing makes us happier than helping our clients grow and become more successful. We have worked in the industries we represent so we understand them and also love them!

Managing Director

Michelle set up Purple Pitch Communications in February 2018 after taking the terrifying step to leave secure full time employment as a Head of Communications and step out on her own.

Having worked in public relations and communications for over 20 years, Michelle has worked in both the public and private sector, with the last decade spent advising C-level executives and Senior Police Officer.

Michelle has held Head of Communications positions for Thames Valley Police where she headed up a 30 strong communications department and Network Rail as Head of Communications for the multi-million-pound Thameslink programme and the South East Route.

Since starting Purple Pitch Communications, Michelle has grown the business from a single client to having multiple clients in multiple sectors with a focus on policing, cyber security and travel and tourism.

Michelle has extensive experience developing communications strategies to help organisations meet their business objectives. She has managed complex crisis communications at a national level, led multi-agency responses to major incidents, managed media relations and briefings, drafted content and copy for every medium you can think of and has a passion for driving digital engagement through effective social media and marketing.

During her career, Michelle has worked in a variety of industries including leisure and tourism, sport, local authority, transport, infrastructure, emergency services, gaming, regulation and food and drink.


Tracy Roberts
PR Account Executive

Tracy joined Purple Pitch in January 2021 as a PR Assistant and a newbie to the work of PR. Tracy worked hard to complete and pass her CIPR Foundation Qualification and has gone from strength to strength in her role quickly being promoted to PR Account Executive.

Tracy’s career has been focused on the Leisure and Tourism Industry where she has worked as part of the entertainments team at holiday parks, cabin crew on Seacats and boats and made her way up from trainee to assistant manager at a travel agents.

Since joining Purple Pitch Tracy has demonstrated a natural eye for design, creating engaging content and assets for social media, driving up followers, likes and comments.

Tracy has also been out and about supporting clients with appearances on broadcast media and coordinating filming for regional news.

Tracy has already secured some amazing coverage for clients in national newspapers, lifestyle magazines and online.
